Could anybody who knows the Ardeche and the Drome let me know which flying sites are allready enough snow free and flyable ? I have an old camper and am not able to drive on roads with much snow.. And if possible also inform which sites can be accessed alone (without assistance) - I am certainly interested in sites where there is some kind of transport between start and landing. I do not mind climbing up to 400 meters - but not 1000 ... with my gear and my age on my back. So, if you know the area, please let me know where, an individual pilot can already enjoy himself this time of the year ... I do not necessarily allways need strong thermals ... a long glide downhill is already satisfactory. Thanks most sincerely for any help et bons vols.
