Suspension of ticket sales threatens loss of Prestwick's direct air link
to the Caribbean

SCOTLAND faces the loss of a year-round air link after ticket sales were
suspended on a service to the Caribbean just weeks after its launch.

The future of direct flights between Prestwick and Barbados is in doubt
because British West Indian Airways (BWIA) is understood to be
considering switching the aircraft involved to another route.
