RYANAIR CELEBRATES FIRST FLIGHTS TO PISA, MURCIA AND HAMBURG FROM GLASGOW
PRESTWICK AIRPORT WITH SPECIAL FREE* SEAT OFFER
UNVEILING OF RYANAIR'S FIFTH BASED AIRCRAFT WITH VISITSCOTLAND LIVERY

RYANAIR, Europe's largest low fares airline, today (Tuesday 1 March 2005)
linked Glasgow Prestwick with Hamburg, Pisa and Murcia for the first time.

Also today, Ryanair's fifth based aircraft at Glasgow Prestwick took to the
skies with special VisitScotland livery.

These three new routes bring to seventeen the number of low-fare services
from Ryanair's Glasgow Prestwick base and this year the airline expects to
carry 2.6m passengers through Prestwick.

Ryanair's business in Scotland is creating in excess of 3,000 jobs and
bringing over 1.4m tourists to Scotland each year.

To celebrate today's occasion, Ryanair announced a special celebratory
FREE* offer to great destinations like Bournemouth, Frankfurt, London and
Shannon. The new Hamburg route is also included in the offer.

Ryanair's Scotland & UK Regional Sales Manager Cathy Timlin said: "Today is
a big day for Ryanair and Glasgow Prestwick. It's the first time that we
have had three new routes starting on the same day. We are delighted to be
adding a fifth aircraft to our Prestwick base, a brand-new state of the art
Boeing 737-800 which carries special VisitScotland livery.

"The three new routes have been a massive hit with over 80,000 bookings
recorded to date.

"Pisa is the ideal gateway to Tuscany and the stunning city of Florence is
only a short distance away. Hamburg is a great party destination, renowned
for its lively nightlife, and the city also offers great shopping and
cultural delights with museums and galleries galore. Meanwhile, for fun in
the sun, Murcia is the perfect destination offering access to the beautiful
Costa Calida.

"To celebrate today we have a special FREE* fare offer which is available
for booking today on www.ryanair.com until midnight Thursday March 3 for
travel in the period 4 April to 26 May 2005 on routes from Glasgow
Prestwick to London, Shannon, Hamburg and Frankfurt. So don't miss out on
your chance to book a bargain break; log onto www.ryanair.com today, as
these FREE* seats won't last
long."

Glasgow Prestwick Managing Director Steven Fitzgerald welcomed the three
inaugural flights: "These exciting new routes are great news for Glasgow
Prestwick Airport and for employment, tourism and economic growth in the
area. We are very proud to be the fourth largest base of Europe's best low
cost airline. The
commitment shown by Ryanair has given us the confidence to invest £3
million in terminal upgrades, the first stage of which will be unveiled
within weeks."

Denise Hill, Head of International Marketing at VisitScotland, said:
"Direct access is key to our being able to truly exploit business from the
overseas markets, and it is particularly exciting to see more new routes
launched today which will help us further access major markets like Germany
and Italy.

"We enjoy a great working relationship with Ryanair, and their branding one
of their planes with our campaign strapline "Scotland. Welcome to our
life." is an exciting new way for us to work together to promote Scotland
to potential visitors in every corner of their route network.''
