The Romance of Flight by G Gibbard Jackson ,grubby boards and some
grubby fingermarks,otherwise a good solid copy.Undated but prize label
states 1931,could be a little earlier. 287 pages.
Lovely old book on the earliest days of flight, via
ballons,airships,early commercial planes,Zeppelins etc. Some very nice
photos including some early shots of Croydon Airport, Stags lane .

/Development of the Airship /Modern Airships /Romance of the Zeppelin
/Some famous Airmen /Aircraft in America / Romance of the glider /Air
