It is shame, that once very good news group degraded so much with spam that it is almost useless. Where is any moderator? Like most Usenet newsgroups rau is unmoderated. AFAIK there is no protocol for converting an unmoderated newsgroup to a moderated one. -- FF Back to top Gordon L. What's sad is that people do not realize that by going to Yahoo groups and not using the newsgroup system, there is not a centralized search function available. Yahoo groups like AOL groups before them are not accessable via a search engine other than the one owned by the group host and to use that one's results you have to be a member of the group. Pretty poor planing as far as groups go. At least searching newgroups allowed any item that crossed over from one group to another to be accessed. A much more free form of ideas flowed. David B.
