The need to prevent, deter and extinguish Viet Cong and North Vietnamese use of Laos to transport enemy personnel and equipment to South Vietnam required the Bravery and Courage of United States Air Force and Navy pilots and Personnel. This Operation succeeded in Destroying vast amounts of enemy resources and Thereby saving countless military and civilian lives.
