Apparently JC and the Kirknewton Confused are under the impression GLA
is known worldwide as 'Abbotsinch' or 'Abbottsinch' even, for
clarification and the removal of all doubt and to ensure that
forthcoming 'my airport is (almost) bigger than yours' posts from the
gruesome twosome adhere to each airports proper title, here is a pic
very kindly forwarded by our roving reporter -

It seems certain others labour under a similar misapprehension that
Edinburgh Airport is "Turnhouse", when geographically this is not at all
accurate.

Fantastic! I had a nice flight over the Canyon last year:

http://www.egphforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=458

Can't beat it.

I'm off to LGW this coming weekend, easyJet from EDI. Then ARN in June
(SAS). Italy planned for Aug/Sept (EZY EDI-MXP outbound, returning
VCE-LGW-EDI with BA).

Yep should be fun. Well that's a few trips you have planned. Well I

have more Dublin, maybe a few STNs, certainly Milan (again),
Minneapolis (systems upgrade), plus whatever else comes my way. Might
hit the 50 flights mark this year, you never can tell.

all boring domestics for me the last few weeks, plus the good old train
where possible. But most of my London stuff has been right beside (or
in) LHR. Basing myself in DUB for a few weeks now so might get a change
of scenery.
