I think GAZ mentioned that someone was serioulsy considering operating
a new 757 service across the pond last week. One name that never
cropped up that I would have thought would have been an option would
have been Icelandair. Am I too wide of the mark?

Delta airlines have returned from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. COO Jim
Whitehurst said up to 35 additional widebody aircraft may be transferred
from domestic to international routes. "This summer we will add eight
767-400s to the intercontinental fleet, plus 13 ETOPS 757-200ERs," he said.
The 757s will be based at JFK for new service to secondary cities throughout
Europe. "Each new Western European destination should become profitable
after three or four months," he added. |

I would go along with Delta as Doug has said, as being the most likely
but I doubt it will be for a couple of years yet.
By the way David what's with the Beaver Basher username? I like
