Not so much as a boo from the Qantas Chairwoman after the on-again-off-again
flopped APA bid. Being a token woman on the board, she must await
instruction from G. Dixon before talking to the public.

Or she's got enough of a clue to have noticed how spectacularly she
fucked up running off at the mouth and has the sense to shut up now.

And this is of interest to aus.comms why?

She's not the 'chairwoman'.

after the on-again-off-again flopped APA bid.

Really? Her comments have been reported on the ABC, and in the
Murdoch and Fairfax press. As well as Forbes and the Wall Street
Journal.

Which newspapers have you been reading? I don't think the Christian
Science Monitor has run much on the story.

Being a token woman on the board, she must await
instruction from G. Dixon before talking to the public.

That's a few times you've opined thus. Would you care to back up
your statement? Any particular reason why you believe she's a
token? Are you of the view that any senior woman can only be there
because she's a token?
Have you been spurned in love recently?

Jackson is Dixon's employer.

Wrong, as always.

Huh? He's employed by the board

Wrong, he's employed by the company which happens to have a board.

of which she is the chairman.

You did manage to get that bit right, by accident presumably.

Wrong again as always. Or is the Sydney Morning Herald wrong in reporting

She's the chairwoman of the board, she's not the board, so hardly his
"employer".

Hmmm. It seems they think she's the Chairman.

Yet just a short while ago you said:

If you're going to play here, you need to be consistent.

Yes, the SMH is indeed wrong. It's just some reporter being politically

Astonishing. You seek to comment on the English language, so you turn to
American dictionaries. Do you not just pick up the English dictionary
that sits on your desk? What's that? You don't have one? More astonishment.
