the M74 extension should speed access to Hamilton, don't know what they
need a plane service for.

To bust through the inevitable congestion?

Looks like an interesting spelling of Edinburgh on the 'Winging it'
fare comparison panel shown on the article.

The quoted fares place Edinburgh in an unenviable upmarket position.?

A status symbol in fact? Smile

There's also an interesting difference between the various versions of
the flyglobespan website over the name of the airport they're flying
to/from.

On the "UK" website, you are told that flights are to "Toronto John C.
Munro Airport" (no mention of Hamilton in the heading name). On the
"Canadian" website, the airport name reverts to "Hamilton
International" (no mention of Toronto in the heading name). The
airport itself has the name "John C. Munro Hamilton International
Airport", or colloquially "Hamilton International". In fact, the word
"Toronto" doesn't appear anywhere on the airport's website home page.

Kinda puts the Glasgow International / Glasgow Prestwick International
into perspective, doesn't it?

Yes, the first flight from GLA departs tomorrow (Wed) at 17:50. Very
interesting to note that about half of all GLA-YHM flights through to August
are already sold out in economy. Also many of the Vancouver and Calgary
flights are sold out in Business and Premium Economy over the summer.
Go Globespan!
