Is it legal for civilians to own Adobe Acrodat PDF copies of Navy NATOPS
manuals? NATOPS manuals for the T-34 and the F/A 18 are available
through public websites. One may also by them from companies that sell
these manuals for profit [search "NATOPS" using Google].

Anyone know of on line sources for these NATOPS manuals?

Yes, altho listed as "For Official Use Only" you may indeed own them.
Nothing to get you in trouble in them.

I think this thread has been covered before on occasion. NATOPS
manuals are all FOUO (For Official Use Only) and therefore are
"classified" to some small extent. They also have addendums that are
CONF, SECRET, et al.

So the short answer is - it depends on what your source was for
obtaining it, and what you want to do with it. If you sell them, I
would imagine that would be a bad thing.
