He'll even upgrade it for you! Just remember to have the FBO open the
gate for you when you depart the field... cause you ain't flyin' over
the fence in that thing!

The Securities and Exchange Commission should
buy it and put it on a pedestal in front of
their headquarters.

There are laws against littering.

If any of you knew what Moller did to fund a lot of this thing, you'd fall
over laughing.
He invented the Supertrap muffler and built that business to fund his flying
piece of crap.
Go Figure.....

The aircraft is currently in its original as-flown condition, but we
would like to incorporate specific improvements to the aircraft in
preparation for submission to the FAA for the Experimental
classification. These improvements include replacement of the aluminum
fan blades with newly designed carbon fiber blades, replacement of the
analog computer system used in the artificial stabilization system with
more up-to-date digital system ...

Gee, I wonder if the "as flown condition" includes the tower and
tether?

I don't know let's find out. I just asked the following question on the
auction site.

"Does the aircraft include the tower and tether? And has it ever flown
without the tether? If so what is the farthest distance it has flown?"

Waiting with baited breath for the answer Wink. Of course I won't trust
the answer no matter what it is anyhow as to the portion about flying
without the tether.

So OK... if the M-400 is the Sky "Car", then is this thing the Sky
"Cycle"?

No wait... that was the name of the goofy rocket-thingie Evel Kenevil
parachuted into the Snake river.

Then would it be the Air Bike? Noooo... the Air Bike actually flies...

Its kinda doughnut shaped... maybe we could call it the "Homer"? It
DOES have a bubble-dome!

Curiously enough, there was another "SkyCar" long before Moller. Try
googling "John Pitts skycar". You probably won't find any photos on the
web, but if you watch the Hitler Channel, you've seen it. It looks like
a Jeep with a giant picnic-table umbrella that ocilates up and down. It
hops around and thrashes about, but never really leaves the gorund.
Sound familiar?

Hmmm...strange. I went back to check the ebay listing. "ivalid item"
"been removed by ebay".

Gee, did someone tip them off to the scam?

Doubt it. E-bay doesn't care if you sell your mother-in-laws false teeth.

Last I read, it didn't meet reserve, even with a 3 million bid. I wonder what
he hopes to get for it, and I wonder who the 3 million dollar fool was!

Definitely gone. Looks like eBay did the sensible thing.
