Ahh no luck, you don't have a computer at work??? hehe.
I'm guessing it will also probably be on News 24 or SkyNews or
something, also.
I was hoping to have a job down London way today to pop by and see it,
from what i hear,it is nigh on impossible to get into any of the places
to watch 27L arrivals, apparently heaving already with the plod going
around nicking any cars parked in the area, and moving on anyone
stopping.

I have a small pair of folding reading spectacles that i keep in my

them in a small tin when i am travelling. Being a metal container (
steel)
would this be a cause of yet another holdup and yet more checking out at
the airport scanners, if they cannot see what they are. Or will they
easily
be seen as spectacles? Otherwise i will go for a small plastic box
container.

Whether plastic or metal they will have to be placed in a plastic bin and go
through the x-ray machine with your wallet and keys. Even if the case has
to be opened you are only talking about seconds.

Having flown Ryanair from Riga I can confirm that they use the city's only
commercial airport, Riga International Airport at Skulte (RIX). There was
another airport at Spilve but this is disused. There is a great
deal of general confusion as many sources mistakenly refer to RIX as Spilve.

Eindhoven airport is approx 7km from the city centre, and Riga airport
approx 13km from the city centre, so yes, both very close.

But are those the airports they will actually be using? Has Eindhoven
got
an equivalent of Brussels South or has Riga got a Glasgow Prestwick?

The nearest airport to Eindhoven is probably AMS.

Damian has answered my query in another reply Bill. I take my hat off to
his Holmes like powers of deduction and investigative techniques resulting
in a quick fire answer to what now looks like a very dumb question :-)

Ryanair have also reduced the frequency of the Charleroi flights from
daily to 4 per week. I just returned from there today. Both the outward
and return flights were either full or almost full. I think they should
be increasing the frequency on this route not decreasing it!
