Billion dollar 5th runway? They hardly use it. They don't
need it. It was predicated on a Delta EXPANSION. FAA Air
Traffic control does not like it they say it disrupts their
time tested efficient 4 runway air traffic flow using it. I
hear through reliable contacts they will only use the 5th
runway FIVE percent of the time in real bad weather.

IF somebody puts in a high speed feed from northside ATL to
Birmingham(Maybe Southwest) combined with a northside
airport(Maybe either Dobbins converted to commercial or
Lawrenceville) Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson will die like St.
Louis. St Louis WAS a major mid-nation hub that was king in
the 1960's when TWA spoked out of there. Now its a broken
down shithole controlled by you guessed it

More info on the "New 10/28 runway" at Hartsfield. As you
can see, the "New" runway is mostly closed all the time
