i just booked through virgin blue and got Bris - Mel for $89. Qantas was
$143.
usully about same as qantas unless u fly on a wedensday or thursday when
it's $115.

the offers are avalalable till midnight on the 25th.

I did a dry run and did BN-SY-BN for $78 in FEB. What are you on?

NOW the current QANTAS promotion - yeah - they are one way only deals!!!

little or no competition. In the early 90's it cost me $760 one way
from AD to BN

I don't give a shit who owns it. I can now afford to fly to visit my
hospitalised daughter in SY because of it!!!

difference wouldn't be that large.

What percentage of Qantas is currently Australian owned?

and for $1 plus the usual Give your money to me taxes, I was able to fly
from CBR to Brisbane and back on Virgin too for another $1 Plus them damn
hang on taxes :-)

Good point, I always was under the impression that British Airways (Isn't
that the same country that Branson comes from) had a huge chunck of Qantas.
The percentage keeps changing from 16 % to 49% So I would like to know once
and for all
