The twelve-month rolling total now stands at 2,389,178, 11% up on the corresponding figure last year. Chief Executive Steve Fitzgerald said: "October was another month of double-digit passenger growth for Glasgow Prestwick. "October scheduled passengers were slightly stronger than the September numbers, a strong result heading into autumn. The addition of a Ryanair Krakow service on 1 November will be offset by the loss of some frequencies to Germany and Scandinavia during the winter season. "Freight volume of 2,512 tonnes was 22% below October 2004.
