Excellent shots considering the rather dull conditions Clive. Hope you
don't mind but I'll take this opportunity to plug my latest on A.net ;)

Nice one. Where exactly were you standing for this shot? I seldom go over
the other side as it's always the morning when I'm passing the airport.
Looking forward to my Canon 350D arriving any moment. That lot were a final
bow for my old Olympus.

I wonder if anyone has any thoughts as to
whether a teleconverter gives good results at full zoom or should I
bite
the
bullet and buy a 80-300mm instead?
Clive
I'd go for the larger lens personally.
Gaz
Thanks. The converter is so cheap I might try that first. If it's good
enough I will have an extra 100mm to play with. I know you lose 2 f stops
but it's the fine definition quality I'm wondering about at 400mm.
Clive
I toyed with the idea of getting a convertor or two quite recently. But
was put off by some reports of poor quality. So perhaps I'll wait on
your pictures before deciding :P
Gaz
Haven't you got a big one anyway?
:-)

Only a 200 inch, err mm lens. Oh and the wee 55mm one too.
