Has anyone ever "spoken" to you about taking photos inside GLA? Back in
August some jobsworth security guard told me that taking photos was
forbidden.

When he couldn't show me the exact regulation that prohibited photography
inside the terminal, he promptly got told to fuck off.

I don't think there is a problem with taking pictures in GLA at all
unless you plan to use them for financial gain,

Hi Colin

The only signs that I have seen are in the security area. If anyone did
challenge me then I would ask them to point out the notices etc etc.

regards John

The BAA website makes it quite clear permission is required to
photograph in or around their airports

It might have been you (or someone else) I saw this happening to. Was it
by chance whilst the US flights were checking in? They have all those
extra security people around at that time, and they do not seem to like
having their photograph taken, so that could have been the reason.

Yeh US airlines are a pain in the ass. They hire out people to stand
around the aircraft while it's on stand and stop any attempt at taking
photos or video of the aircraft if they see you.
