"Glasgow will gain a once daily service to Knock, the gateway to the north
west of the Republic of Ireland, on March 15, in time for St Patrick's Day.
Web fares start at £25 one way including taxes and charges and go on sale
tomorrow.

"The bmi group's presence in Scotland continues to go from strength to
strength," said Mr Reid. "Not only will we provide links between four of
Scotland's largest cities and London Heathrow; we have a comprehensive and
growing network of services operated by bmi regional with its headquarters
based in Aberdeen; and our low cost arm bmibaby is currently operating four
routes out of three Scottish airports.""

I wonder if that is close enough to Shannon for Ryanair to take it as a
challenge ?

Oh, alright. How about 'Glasgow Airport (GLA) Scotland International?'

Too late, the title has already gone..... Edinburgh handles more
scheduled International flights
than GLA and so does that little airport up the road - Prestwick...

Get your facts right before boasting and bragging.....

Joe if you are going to go on about GLA handles many more international
passengers and flights than any Scottish Airport.

I wouldnt be to sure Knock flights would work as down the road Ryanair
have just made a based aircraft at shannon do the Shannon rotation,so
possibly could we see a knock route be put in place to KNOCK off BMI
from Glasgow.
Ryanair have a history of these kind of things.

Due to EDI having smaller a/c of course.
