Also GLA-YYZ had 20,848 over the month, an excellent figure of 695 pax per
day using GLA to/from YYZ.

Excellent news all round. Hopefully this is indicative of a more general
improvement in economic confidence.

Indeed. So yo are now behind GLA as well. That's progress.

But what happened to your claims of overcapacity at one particular airport?

Maybe he's having difficulty with the ng title to coin a phrase.

It's about as relevant as say Jersey to Bristol unless one has an axe to
grind.

Given that Continental fly year round to Newark, load factors such as these

will hopefully persuade AA and US to look at maintaining service year round.

Funny you should say that.
The MAN -USA loads are interesting:

ATL 11110 185.17 92.12%
BOS 09982 166.37 88.50%
ORD 25150 209.58 91.32%
JFK 10970 182.83 85.84%
EWR 15295 254.92 90.08%
MCO 20574 395.64 96.97%
PHL 13253 220.88 83.04%
IAD 10076 201.52 82.59% Thanks David

Our COA EWR load looks a little less than we're used to as the competition
arrive for the summer but the duplicate services are roughly on a par with
MAN. Their figures would suggest that a Delta GLA-ATL service would hold
it's own against the others and could be a viable next addition. Same with
BOS though I'd rather ATL as it's a bit removed from the competition we
already have to the North Eastern seaboard and would be ideal for the
southern half of the States where there are many with Scottish roots.
I always say that MAN's services are a good indicator as to what we could
expect in the future as both are competing with LHR for long haul and both
have similarly higher proportions of VFR/Leisure pax. Our Canadian services
tend to mirror each other.

Other interesting things about the MAN figures. bmi are doing well to IAD
and ORD. They have doubled the ORD market by joining AA and between then
achieved 91%. The competition hasn't troubled AA. The MCO figure would be
high as most of the seats are sold in advance to tour operators.

A GLA-ATL service would be a winner no doubt at all
