Hmmm...not sure if these are correct but heres some I could be bothered
doing.
BRU = 62%
CDG = 78%
ATH = 93.6%
DXB = 80.2%
ORD = 80.5%
EWR = 75%
PHL = 80%
Gaz. Not bad but not too impressive.

Before I answer...GLA handled 104,148 long haul pax in August.
Including 290 to BOS (diversion).
You get the passenger numbers from the CAA's website.
http://www.caa.co.uk/default.aspx?categoryid=80&pagetype=88&sglid=11&fld=200508
Once you have the figure. Lets use GRE to ATH (to work out a load
factor on a route the route must only be served by 1 airline).
GLA-Athens = 3927
Now GRE fly 2x weekly to Athens, on a Monday and a Friday. So you have
to look at a calendar and see how many Mondays and Fridays there were
in the month. There were 9, meaning 9 outbound flights, but you have to
multiply this by 2 to include return flights. Giving you 18.
Air Scotland's 757 carries 233 passengers (info from their website).
Firstly you need to work out the 100% load factor. To do this you
multiply 233 by 18, which equals 4194.
Now you go back to the CAA figures. (3927) To get this into a
percentage you multiply it by 100. = 392700%
The final stage is to work out the load factor of this flight. You take
the percentage of pax who travelled and divide it by the 100% load.
392700/4194 which = 93.6%
Hope thats clear.

Thanks for that Gaz, much appreciated. If I done it right and GSM used
nothing but a 733 on the GLA-NCE route then that’s a load of 76.2% is
that right?

EK don't have any 289 seat A330s, they are either 245/265(LD) or 285
(HD).

dont mean to be pernickety but:
330 HD has 278 seats, config J27Y251
330 LD has 225 seats, config they use is at GLA is usually J42Y183 (they dont count the 12 F seats)

42+183+12 = 237 which would equate to a 97.8% load factor?

We would need to see the breakdown of HD and LD services to work out
the "precise" load fsctor - GLA is normally slated for HD operations.
