Hi Folks,

Well eventually decided to fly with FLYBE. Depart GLA on a DASH 8 on
Wednesday evening and landed at BHX on time. Had to take bus from aircraft
to arrivals but baggage came off plane quick enough. Flight was near enough
full.

Return flight on Thursday was supposed to be 20.15 but managed to change it
to an early flight as I had worked into Wednesday night/Thursday morning at
the customers offices and finished the majority of the work by 3am (was glad
to get to my hotel bed, I would recommend the Holiday Inn Birmingham City,
get a websaver deal, really nice hotel). Dragged myself out of bed at
9.15am, meet up with someone else and then decided to try and fly back on
some of the early flights, but they were all full and only one empty seat on
the 18.15, which I secured.

Flight back was late as it was due to depart at 18.15 but we did not board
the bus from the terminal building til 18.15 then had to wait in the bus
beside the aircraft whilst the cleaning crew finished their duties (and by
the looks of them when they came down the stairs they were not in any sort
of a hurry).

Flight back was fine, got my free snack and drink (ordinary ticket holders
had to pay)(not sure what my ticket was but it also gave me access to
Executive Lounge which I missed out on arghhhhhhhhh!!!!!).

Baggage off at GLA very quickly indeed.

BHX Comments
This is the first time that I have used T1 and I found it a lot better after
security than T2 (BA Terminal mostly). Lots more things to see and do as
well as a selection of places to eat at.

City Centre to BHX, due to the distance from BHX to the City Centre I would
advise everyone to leave yourself at least 45minutes travelling time at rush
hour, I just made the checkin desk due to traffic levels and this was during
school holiday period.

Flybe Customer Services
Had to phone them up and was not happy with the amount of time I had to wait
on the 0871 number which they are easily making 3p or 5p a minute off of me.
Finally got thru and they did help out with the change of booking etc as you
cant do it on the day it does tell you to phone them.

Anyway, apart from that it was enjoyable. Next trip on Monday is GLA <>
Heathrow with BA, but its the 06.05 flight
(ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

regards John

I did not actually mean to send that sig with the message so sorry for doing
that, but with regards the signature, its actually company policy, even the
font has to be a specific type.

regards John
