Had a fantastic time. It is indeed an avaition enthusiasts paradise. Not like i spent the entire trip at the airport. However the front door of the hotel was about 84m (measured on google earth) from the CENRELINE of the runway. I have uploaded a wee video of KLM 747 aboring landing last Sunday 26/11/06. Not great quality but you get the picture. Assuming it plays OK. However she could sunbathe on the beach next to me, I'd get up for a few minutes take a quick snap and then get back to working on the tan.
