Flyglobespan have confirmed that they are stopping the EDI and GLA to
stansted flights. They will both run till the end of their current
schedules. GLA finishes in March and EDI in April. Low demand is the
reason according to Flyglobespan. Also the reason for the EDI to BOH
service being cut.

Source The Herald, Saturday 21st. It came from a Flyglobepsan spokesman
so i guess there not making it up then.

Most people in this newsgroup at the time of the introduction of the
routes were very surprised that they started Stanstead. I think we were
all saying it should have been Gatwick as they were taking on a couple
of heavyweights on in this case. Its a shame it didn't work out for
them but if they had read this Newsgroup at the time we might be able
to say (we told you so}.
Flyglobespan are in a period of chipping and changing at the moment, I
sincerely hope they get it right.

You know they could do worse than talking to people on some of these
news groups.

We may not always share the same opions but there are some pretty
aviation savvy people around here.

Its just a case of sorting out the wheat from the chaff.
