As you say John, it's not available to book and it's also no longer on
the destination map. I've looked at the site a few times since the
announcemnt of this route and it was listed on the destination map and
available to book on those occaisions. Maybe something is going on?

Jon: who told they'd fallen out with PIK - a reliable source?Wink Maybe
MOL said yesterday that Berlin was on FR's plans for the near future
from PIK?

I've always thought it was a bit funny that they chose PIK instead of
GLA or EDI - they don't seem to fly to any other secondary airports.
If they do operate, I wonder how they'll get on. Seeing as germanwings
EDI-CGN service is to go seasonal, how will germania fare flying to
PIK, and with fixed fare prices (178ish Euros) at that?

Correction,Gpia.co.uk still has Berlin Tegel as a destination,as I
stated on another group, this will probably be a technical
fault.Beacuse you wouldnt here talk on them upgrading to a 737-300 if
they wrer going to withdraw.
Maybe they have just went back to there old setup and just forgot to
add Glasgow Prestwick as a destination, but with English still there.
I know this post sounds a bit stupid but these things do happen.

Oh and just for the Glasgow enthusiast,Jet2 is going to start PIK- AMS
services twice daily, for times check some schipol spotters sites, they
have the times there, flight numbers, times, aircraft you name it.

also some body said in a recent article that PIK only has 2 Locos, well
they have 6.Ryanair,BMI Baby,Aer arann,Flyglobespan(for a time)
Germania and LTE.

It is noted on a Schipol spotters site, flight times,dates,A/C numbers
and aircraft(It was originally posted on a PIK group).I dont know
which website it is but there definately is somewhere.

There is nothing on either Jet2's or PIK's website about Jet2
commencing flights between Prestwick and Amsterdam. This sounds like
hearsay to me. I hope I'm wrong though.
