Is the 24Volt system stepped down to 12Volt for the Cig lighter? Check the auto/aircraft manual for that one. There are not too many appliances that are ready to plug into 24Volt systems. That is for the unit. Garmin calls the cigarette lighter adaptor the "12-volt" adaptor. Sounds like it should be called the "11-35V adaptor".
