Jakarta - Departemen Perhubungan telah menemukan pemilik pesawat
berselotip. Ternyata pesawat tersebut milik maskapai penerbangan Lion
Air.
Hal ini disampaikan Dirjen Perhubungan Udara Departemen Perhubungan, M
Iksan, Tatang dalam rapat kerja dengan Komisi V DPR, Senayan, Jakarta,
Rabu (24/1/2007).
"Kami sudah melakukan pengecekan ke lapangan ternyata pesawat itu
Boeing
737-400 dengan nomor registrasi PK-LIF. Itu pesawat Lion Air," kata
Iksan.
Iksan menjelaskan, pada saat kembali mengecek pesawat yang dimaksud
sudah mulus kembali. Lubang yang ada sudah hilang.
Menurut Iksan, Lion Air sudah diberikan teguran keras. Pihaknya sudah
minta agar teknisi jangan dipekerjakan lagi."Saya dengar informasinya
teknisinya sudah dipecat," ujar
dia.
Sebelumnya diduga pesawat tersebut milik AdamAir, namun sudah dibantah
karena lokasi pesawat yang berada di foto tersebut bukan berasal dari
terminal mereka. Dalam
foto yang beredar, menggambarkan sayap kanan pesawat yang berlubang.
Tampak pula seorang mekanik berbaju gelap menutup lubang dengan selotip
hitam.

Jakarta - The investigation done by The Department of Transportation
recently, had revealed that the cello taped aircraft in the news and
photos which had been circulating in
numerous mailing list in the past one year was in fact, the aircraft
owned by Lion Air.
The investigation result was announced on Wednesday ( 24/01/2007) by
the
Director General of Air and Land Transporation Department, M.Iksan
Tatang himself during the
meeting with DPR V Commission ( People Representative Council).
He confirmed that the Boeing 737-400 aircraft with the registration no
PK-LIF is one of Lion Air's Aircraft. However, in the repeat
investigation, the damage on the aircraft had
substantially been repaired. A stern warning was given to Lion Air on
this and a request not to hire the technician who was responsible on
the
incident. Lion Air had informed
that the technician was in fact had been dismissed by the company.
Previously, many had wrongly speculated that it's Adam Air's, the
airline whose flight went missing in january 2007. Adam Air had
dismissed the speculation as the aircraft
location shown in the photos were not in their assigned terminal.
Photos
shown a Holed right wing of an aircraft and a dark uniformed technician
covering the hole with cello tape.
