Airport owner BAA is cracking down on travellers who board planes carrying suitcases and other large bags. The Department for Transport recently asked airlines and airports to ensure that carry-on luggage does not exceed internationally-agreed limits, and Edinburgh was today joined by Glasgow and Aberdeen in adopting the new rules. A Scotland-wide radio advertising campaign has been launched by BAA to inform passengers of the restrictions.
