"FIREFIGHTERS at Glasgow Airport are close to ending their long-running
strike after a breakthrough in talks.
Senior managers have now said the firefighters can continue to battle all
blazes at the airport until an independent assessment of controversial new
working arrangements is carried out in a year."

wow, this had been really hard hitting, and shown how valuable these
"special" firefighters are to GLA. Bring them back and reopen GLA
immediately I say. Good luck battling the blazes.
