There are pockets of poverty in Edinburgh as well, and of course the area
you reside, West Lothian, so don't go down that road again because you
really do make an ar*e of yourself when you do.

No great surprises there :-(

Meanwhile, genuine and decent posters from the east of Scotland have to put
up with a load of bigotry and insults which are now seemingly increasingly
justified as an acceptable reaction to the views of Joe Curry ...

I have to agree Callum. However if Joe continues to post moronic comments
he can expect moronic replies. There is no excuse though for the likes of
yourself who posts here for genuine reasons to be subjected to any abuse.

You'll not have seen his post on the EDI group today saying GLA should be
closed down and everything moved to EDI then? He is even prepared to say BAA
should sell the land at GLA minus the runway system in case another operator
began flights from there again. Adrian it's time you made a stand against
this twisted oddball.

Unfortunately he contaminates this, and other ng's with his own brand of
bull, which of course 'provokes' a 'reply,' if you don't like the reply
Adrian f off or to be more polite go away? Your choice... You're a nice guy
but a tad misguided.

The 'reply' which is 'provoked' usually has very little to do with Joe and
everything to do with having a go at Edinburgh/EDI. If you kept your rebukes
focused on Joe, and away from attacking an airport you claim to support, you
would find that your views would have more sympathy.

And there is no way that Adrian is misguided. He is his own man. I've had
the "Joe's got at you" accusation levellled at me in the past, simply for
supporting EDI or for daring to criticise those who have aired some dubious
opinions about Edinburgh or Edinburgh Airport.

I don't have much time for the majority of Joe's wilder theories, but
equally I have little time for those who try to use the opinions of one man
to justify 'hate posts' directed at EDI.

Clive always manages to keep his arguments focused and non-parochial. Why
can't others?

Not very eloquent. The way I see it Blimps is that the losers
are those with a fixation on another member (Joe or otherwise).

Quote:

If you mean that I don't move around in a pack (or a posse if you
prefer) like your average member here then I take that as a compliment.
I wish there were a few more free-thinking pepole around.
You know, you don't reach the top by being average!
