I'm off to Temora this w/end.

Looking in the ERSA I see

PJE occures HJ.

Turning to the front and scanning, can't find PJE.

Anyone please?

If it is a flying weekend, PJE will not be on. But they do like you to get
there before museum flying starts.

Make sure you have a current ERSA that shows the more recent new runway
04/22.

Monitor the CTAF a long way out and you will get the active runway from
hearing other arrivals, also the nearby Wagga MET available Mt Ginini (ERSA
page GEN FIS 1).

The flying weekend is a wonderful display and absolute value for money.
Usually the aero club has a snag sizzle.

Well, 12:00 Local is about the earliest I can arrive.

Ha!

I just looked.

Funny it shows 23/05, 18/36 and 09/27 and that is the current ERSA.

I'm not with you on that, but I shall have a look and try to
understand how to use what you mentioned.

Mea culpa, I should have looked in the ERSA with my glasses on, delete 04/22
insert 05/23 as the recent runway - you can use 09/27 as the taxiway to get
to the parking.

Reply next week if you had any problem. The AERIS system is not known by
many but is great for planning ahead in flight. I also got ASA to put the
KIM AWIS freq on the ML VTC and although the range is not far it is another
great help if you are using the Eastern Lane (remembering AWIS is near
Wallan/Pretty Sally)

Forgiven.

We all make mistakes.

Luckily this one is not a critical one.

Ok. Thanks.

I'm comming up from Wagga.

YHOX - BIK - YSWG (refuel) - YTEM

I am hoping that while at Temora, I can get some help with some of
these "tricks".

I am planning a trip to Cobden in October.

Happy flying!

bollocks to that.
I have tuned the kalgoorlie aeris every time I have flown near and
through the "gool" and have not heard a single transmission from it
yet.

my trannie radio with abc country am actually does a better job of met
info than the aeris service.

Must admit it is not always perfect but here in the golden boomerang we have
better coverage and I can usually get Canobalas or Ginini. You get better
weather and flatlands, we get tiger country but some good repeaters!!
No slinging off at Kalgoorlie, my son had his 12th birthday in Hannan's pub
in Hannan St in Hannans Find - you can guess the relevance.
