Nah, just sour grapes (and wishful thinking) on the part of the
'Capital' [small 'c' actually]'s media).

Andrew

Interesting comments about possible expansion

Possibly, It's certainly the first mention of EDI for the EK flights over
the last 3 years.

You can allways predict a edinburgh paper to talk shit like that EDI
cant handle a a330 aircraft and edi has no security no chance they
should be aloud any long haul flights

Its fun to read Jon comments..

I don't disagree with anything Jon says, he is a well educated man who knows
what he's talking about.. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.

You are saying long haul at EDI shouldn't be allowed. That would be a
political fix which has no place in modern business/economics, nor would it
suit the consumers and inbound visitors. Surely we all want a free market?
It spreads the benefits and allows for competition which leads to better
services and cheaper fares.
I must say some of your views strongly mirror those of Foxy. I am forever on
at him to leave GLA alone and concentrate on EDI since he hasn't a clue
about GLA. Play to your strengths, that's what I say.

He's just trying to get you to honour us with your views on Joe's stance. A
touchy subject, I know.

For some, yes.

As a hill walker, I know that fences are there to be climbed over
