Why not encourage people to use direct flights from Scottish airports. EasyJet will hopefully be advertising Scotland-wide for its year-round EDI-GVA service too. Well, BAA Edinburgh won't complain if it's getting good money for the ads. The direct flight is often full, and I'm sure that will continue to be the case even after the upgrade to the 773. A lot of people won't have a choice but to go the "wrong way".
