It's supposed to be almost over by now! Why would anyone from Europe travel to Ely for a supposedly international contest, when they had five other qualifying contests to choose from within Europe? What it should have been (and was attempted, but too late) was a US national qualifier, with international participation encouraged... Marc I spoke with Dan and he said exactly that.....too many contests in Europe at this time for it to compete with those. Too bad since a few of us are going to be in Ely this coming week and I was looking forward to meeting and flying with some of those folks.
