The regionals are on at Ely. If you go to ElySoaring.com you will see
that Carl Herold will have a area orientation June 2 thur the 4 with
the regionals from the 5th thur the 11th of June. Those of you going to
Parowan might just want to drop over to Ely and get in a few days of
Carl's camp, because some of our tasks at Parowan might be towards the
Ely area, and fly the regionals their also. Right now they have about
20 or so signed up, I spoke with Karol this mornin and don't know the
classes. I have also noticed that on Ely Soaring's calender that Carl
will have several other orientations thur the summer. The great basin
of Neveda is huge and the sky is big, the roads are few, but landout
places are available, so Carl's classes will give you needed
information to make your flights that much safer. Call Dan and let him
know your plans. Thermal tight, Soar high, Fly safe, # 711 reporting.
