Just booked a flight tonight to the Far East for the last week in
October. The price I paid through Ebookers £468 is the cheapest this
year, the average of £530 for the previous 5 flights this year. A very
pleasant surprise. then I remembered the greater capacity in October
with the triple 777 operating,I presume this has brought the prices
down. Good news for anybody tavelling with Emirates from Scotland.

Yes, and just as Clive predicted.

Hi sothwest,
Just wondered if you could supply me with any information about
visiting Bangkok in the middle of October as I am thinking about going
there for a seven night city break with my wife.
I am a bit worried about the weather as I have read that it is the
rainy season, any information would be appreciated before I book.
Thanks
