Had a chat with a neighbour in the local yesterday.

He was telling me he was just back from KL via DXB.

Stewardess told him GLA-DXB is approx 60% full and rising.

Business class was full on his return flight home yesterday morning.

Great news for the only direct non-stop Scottish air link to the Middle East
and beyond!

Quite a few seats in economy were empty, ar***ole, if you must know.

Apologies for the language, but I'm just back from the pub and the
moron is annoying me.

Hope you have had your bed bath in Robinson Way.

It doesn't work that way, it's when economy is full that the upgrades
happen, glad to be of assistance.

EK wish to give the impression to full-paying business pax they are
'lucky' to get booked? Or economy pax the impression that upgrades
are common?

Reminds me of an advert on TV when a women jumped off a pier on
discovering her companion had paid a fraction of her fare...

I wish you would jump off a pier! Mind you, it would need to be at
Leith. It's mostly remotes at Edinburgh Airport, isn't it? :-)

This patting book must be getting really thick... best seller? Could it
be targetted for serialisation in the Evening Times.?

A word of advice, you might think you are one of the bhoys but anyone who
brings utter disruption in this newsgroup is hardly going to win
popularity contests.
