v good. I noticed last week that the 'runway' extension at that end is
almost complete, markings in place etc.

The message <cle6mq$18d$1 (AT) sparta (DOT) btinternet.com>

The sort of elitist post that constantly gets you in trouble, not everyone
spends half their lifetime at perimeter fences. Swotting aviation books,
swapping numbers and engaging in EDI-disparaging.

So what if laymen can't differentiate between taxiways and runways?

I rue the day that these newsgroups will consist of 'purists' who ridicule
anyone sporting anything less of a Biggles moustache and doesn't bow to the
west.......PATHETIC.

Yes, that just about sums you up, the last bit especially seeing you don't
seem to be at all happy at the success EDI has enjoyed over the last few
years..

They shouldn't comment on them..

Thats right Joe, not everyone does, others like JohnR, Bill and myself fly
nearly every week too various locations in the UK and the rest of Europe but
then again what the heck do we know about avaition and airports.

Hmm...yet again I have to laugh at you, if anyone disagrees with your views
then they are wrong and face your ridicule. You chase away more people from
this group than anyone else. I would call that PATHETIC.

It was more recent than that, but not as much fun as you not knowing that
American Transair flew EDI-JFK/EWR in the early 90's Smile))
