Hello my homies,
I may have to make a business trip to Kuwait soon. How is the easiest
way of getting to Kuwait from Edinburgh?
I have looked at
BA EDI-LHR-Kuwait
KL EDI-AMS-Kuwait
CSA EDI-PRG-DXB and then Emirates from DXB to Kuwait
BD EDI-MAN, then EK to DXB and Kuwait

I'd imagine that the BA and KL are the quickest, however, they are not
the cheapest either.
Any other suggestions?
Thank you most sincerely.

If you are paying a business ticket then I suspect your best would be
travelling to Dubai from GLA with Emirates then connecting to Kuwait from
Dubia. Emirates have a free limo pickup and return service for their GLA
business class passengers.

Perhaps not as connection times are long in Dubai though Emirates also put
you up in a hotel for free if you have long connecting times in Dubia if
you fly business class.

KLM is cheapest from what I found (£380 for random dates in March). BA is
slightly quicker but slightly dearer and of course you'd have the hassle of
getting from T1 to T4 at LHR. Lufthansa via FRA is another option but not as
attractive looking as KLM either on price or timelyness.

What else is new? Every airline would do this for so called premium
pax...

with bmi between EDI and LHR?

Looking only at Expedia, the fares with Kuwait Airways were laughable.
However it could be that there are other agents holding better deals for
that airline. I doubt he'd see better than the £380 KLM have on any
combination of airlines and he'd still have to traverse from T1 to T3 if
Kuwait Airways came near that price. The KLM Schiphol transfer is seamless
as we all know but I gather their old 767's don't have the best in IFE
systems.

All being equal arrangements wise I'd rather he supported an international
link than the overused LHR slog. Gotta try to change the old way of thinking
;-)

Joe, the guy said Edinburgh. Not Edinburgh Airport.

Don't you think it's disrespectful to someone who comes here asking for
advice to deny them a full range of options?

Oh dear, is he still about? That noisy troll trying to lay down *his* law?

I must say almost everyone is doing a sterling job in ignoring him just
lately as it's all gone very quiet on that front as far as my newsreader's
concerned with the kill-file achieving it's full potential at last. An
unspoken concerted effort is going on, it seems. Great job everyone!

Thanking you in advance.
It looks like EDI-LHR-Kuwait will the be easiest with British Midland
and then Kuwait Airways
