1. From where to where?
2. Why is Gravity omitting the -- above your sig?
|
1. I'm trying find that out - normally distances are calculated from
main Post Office to Main Post Office - I doubt if that is the case here
as it is likely to be calculated from Trafficmaster data.
2. Maybe because there is no `sig` on my posts - but try this one to see
if it is there now.

J1 of the M8 is hardly Edinburgh.
|
No but it is pretty near the airport - however J8 of the M8 is much less
near Glasgow never mind near the airport so on that basis the figures
couldn't be used as an accurate guide for travelling between airports.
However as I stated the route points from the software manufacturers and
the SE webpage don't tally. I received another email from ITS last night
who told me they would look into this and get back to me.

The route points don't allow accurate journey times bewteen the two city
centres but they do allow VERY accurate and up to date timings between
the two points because the data is real time from actual vehicles
travelling on the route and calculated by GPS and satellite tracking.
