I have decided to "get on my bike" due to the following: 1: I cant drive, will learn soon! 2: My girlfriend drives to Stirling UNI each day (the opposite direction of my office) 3: I have developed a wee pot belly And I want to stunt its growth, NOW. My cycle route has to run between East Craigs Rigg to Frederick Street, multimap suggests: http://makeashorterlink.com/?M2D012B0B Now, obviously this direct route is not very scenic, or safe in my opinion - I hate busy roads and rush hour traffic, especcially on a push bike. Now this may be futile, but do you think there is a passage one can take between these two points which is less busy, more enjoyable and generally safer? I will buy a cycle map of Edinburgh at some point and try and work it out, but if any of you other Edinburgers have any ideas, im listening :) Regards, Gary. I'd just thrash down the A8, but I'm sure that's not a nice prospect!
