SYY BA/LC drop the non-stop weekday flights. Continue Sat and Sun only.
BRU BD same as. 3 flights a day with ERJ's
HAM HLX same as. 3 flights a week with 737's
CPH Sterling (NB) begin twice weekly 737's from 1 May. BD unchanged
PRG CSA increase from 6 to 10 flights a week from 27 March
FRA LH upgrade from the loosely timetabled Avro AR8's to a mix of 735, 733
and 320 aircraft
YYZ Air Transat weekly summer service begins 29 April with A310 aircraft
CGN Germanwings A320's increase from 3 to 5 weekly from 27 March rising to
daily from 14 June
ARN SK same as. 3 weekly with 737-600's
LPL BE new daily from 27 March with Dash-8-Q400's
NWI BE new daily from 27 March Dash-8-Q400's
LCY BA operating 5 flights a day. Dunno if that's an increase. Scotairways
looks unchanged
CDG AF add an extra Saturday flight to the 2 daily's. No sign of the summer
weekend ORY flights
DME Transaero supposed to re-start on 24 March. Anyone know if this is
happening?
PMI GSM 8 weekly from 26 March
AGP GSM 8 weekly from 20 April
ALC GSM 8 weekly from 27 May
FAO GSM 2 weekly from 23 April
NCE GSM 6 weekly from 28 May
FCO GSM 4 weekly from 27 May
GVA GSM last flight of the season on 17 April

Can't think of any more right now. Any EDI "aficionados" know of more
changes for the summer schedules?

Clive

EDI is not on the Transaero website. Only UK destinations are
Manchester and London.

Yes I don't think it will be back. Just wondering if anyone knows the score.
Gavin?

I felt now would be a good time for a round up of EDI flight info.

Clive

PS I forgot to mention COA going to10 flights a week from June but then
that's well known by all.

Yes, excellent news.

Also for the list, Canadian Affair/Thomas Cook flights from EDI to YYZ
weekly during the summer (not sure of exact dates of operation). I'm
booked to go to Toronto direct from EDI with them in September, which
I'm really looking forward to. First trip to Canada, first long-haul
flight out of EDI ... and *despite* the fact that EDI doesn't "cater"
for long-haul. I'm well impressed! ;-)

It is written in message <cvt33n$p2m$1 (AT) newsg2 (DOT) svr.pol.co.uk> that Clive
Braham sayeth :
Quote:

That's two extra each day, present schedule is three returns. Amazing
how EDI can support so many passengers to LCY (now 13 returns a day)
whereas otherwise in Scotland only Dundee has any flights at all! (Can
you tell I feel deprived?)
