Just back from PMI on the flyglobespan service.
No complaints at all. Did everything they said they would,
on time and cheaply.

The walk at PMI from gate to baggage took an age. However
there was one advantage - the bags got there first. [Imagine
that EDI!].

The German captain was especially enthusiastic on the return flight.
He told us lots of technical info throughout the trip and I even think
he dipped the left wing to give us a better view of the Spanish coast
as we flew past.

He also got excited on our behalf when he announced that a cargo plane
on the tarmac was an Antonov 124 [1] which is not a usual visitor to
PMI. Did he think we were all spotters [2] ?

[1] Blimpie has probably seen three at once somewhere else

[2] RA 82080

Imagine having to walk, GLA has travelators...

Maybe it was that strangely silent EDI aficionado Hans Knees, and sometimes
Ades aircraft have to bank to turn to port or starboard, that's what get's
you home you know..

Obviously, he must have heard GLAbanana was aboard.

Only 2, but did I ever tell you about the time that 3, yes 3, Concordes were
on the ground at the same time at GLA, possibly the only airport outwith LHR
& CDG tha.......

Would you belive a Celtic supporter was on the flight?

You've let me down. I was expecting a link to a pic of that plane.

I bet there was, I've seen one of that lot at various airports in the US but
none have ever boarded my GLA bound flights...

So what's the point of getting on it then?

To get there quicker, to pick up your bags.
You mean that isn't the case at GLA?

Doesn't really matter, the Baggage Hall is chokka at GLA these days and you
would have a bit of a wait anyway, and a new one should be built asap which
would be dubbed "BR2."
