Balkan Holidays will add EDI-Plovdiv next winter using A320s.
Airports that currently have service to Plovdiv include Gatwick,
Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle and Humberside.

Would that be a ski charter or is Bulgaria really that appealing
for winter sunseekers?

Winter sun in Bulgaria?!

It runs weekly during the ski season from 19 December to 2 April.

Based on what they can get away rather than economics?

Gatwick is rated NIL supplement.

I thought this note from that webpage a bit ominous

"The supplements when you book will not exceed the supplement stated
above by more than £100. Please check the up to date supplements for
your chosen holiday with your agent before you book. "

Who cares what the prices from elsewhere are (usually LGW is the zero rated
base price in the brochures)? As I always say on this thorny subject one
should consider whether the *total* price for the desired travel
arrangements suits them and either book or don't book.

You condone these over-exaggerated 'Northern' supplements.?

I see once again that the webmaster of Taxiway Alpha has reverted to trolling :(
