EDI on google earth

It may be old news to some but I just found google earth has updated its map
of Edinburgh.

The EDI map is more up to date notably with the new ATC and alpha taxiway
extensions, and AFS fireground refurb on. No southeast pier yet so must be
at least a year out of date.

I think it has been like that for a while now. Much higher resolution now.
Compare it to MS's Live View at www.flashearth.com

The chances are the photograph could be a composite of several images. The
detail at other Scottish airports confirms this - imagery that couldn't
exist in the real world due to building and demolition dates etc.
