Monday 20th. October around 1000

Eight outbounds on the parallel taxyway with two further outbounds
pushed back and patiently (????) waiting on the apron. At least two
more are going through the startup drills and will shortly be ready
for pushback.

Looks to me that some major work needs doing to improve apron
access/' egress.

EDI has just returned 105.5k atms in the year to
30.09. The coming of 8 new daily LCY sectors plus the routes to be
operated by Duo and others planned for 2004 (SAS / Continental / CSA)
will place further pressures on the terminal area. Perhaps it is time
for BAA to consider Edinburgh International Terminal (Terminal Two)
with a direct road link from the Gogarburn Interchange?

With EDI approaching saturation point I'm sure the BAA will change
their Euro policy, and put any other new routes through GLA where
there is slot availability!

Slot availability has been increased 25% over the last few months due to
maint upgrades and new remote stands apparently..

EDI desperately needs more remote stands...the cul-de-sac is still a
bottle-neck... Sad(

The mid-morning FR flight stood outside the cul-de-sac this morning awaiting a stand being vacated.
FR will not be amused given their fast turnaround times... Sad(

Billy there is a shortage of stands and check-in desks at GLA and no
catagorisation policy. I'm sure you were only joking?

Sorry Clive, I couldn't resist it, it was just another succesful
attempt to provoke JC and his alter egos.

You should be thoroughly ashamed of yourself Clive for fueling further
conflict in this newsgroup.

Your statement above makes a mockery of your 'Fueling Conflict' thread...

For Christs sake man get into the correct newsgroup and take these
disciples with you....

What are you on about Joe? I was highlighting the fact that Billy was
joking - to help evade conflict.
