I am looking for information regarding a couple of obscure (at least to me)
markings on night bombers during WW1. They may have been RNAS aircraft or
RFC aircraft, I am unclear at this point.
The two references I have seen refer to upper wing national markings
consisting of:
1) a simple plain white disc and
2) a white disc with a black centre.
Can anyone shed more light on this for me?
Thanks,
