Just had a look at the BAA destinations page. Under flight information.
According to it there are two competing airlines on the route. Emirates
and Air Scotland. Now that would make me laugh normally, however as
somebody on the other side of the world might be looking at that page
to help with travel plans it ain't no joke. Can anybody else spot any
other crackers on that page. Somebody in BAA needs to sort it out.

It's absolutely riddled with errors - they can't even spell Kirkwall!

However, maybe Air Scotland are going to start flights to DXB with the
Tristar they're supposed to be getting - wouldn't surprise me tbh! (not that
I'd ever pick 'em over EK!)

Haha, I didn't think that any even semi-modern airline still operated
Tri-Stars. Then again, this *is* Air Scotland.

Funnily enough the transat tri-stars being acquired by Air Scotland are
500s therefore built in the 80s, making them younger than , for example
, some of the USair 762s !

Tristars, wonder if rumour or fact, not so long ago it was Globespan
getting a large MD widebody. If they do get them and they change there
schedule as often as they do with their European flights we can all
look forward to a wonderfull selection of woldwide destinations fron
Gla. Talking about that PIA story been quiet for a considerable time
anybody any idea.

I'd be surprised if they operate to Dubai, as Dubai DCA don't normally
allow Low Cost carriers in. If it's true, then maybe they'll be
heading up the road to Sharjah, or even the new Jebel Ali
International when it open's in 2 or 3 years time.

Greek Airline Gee Bee Air have acquired a number of ex Air Transat

Given that they are supposedly getting shot of the 757 next month who
knows.
