Hi all

Opened Gravity to find John has posted 8 separate articles independently to
both the EDI and GLA groups, consequently having read them in one group I
then had to manually delete them to mark them as read in the other. There was
only one objector that I could see to cross-posting articles that are
relevant to both groups and HE didn't come up with a rational explanation yet
why he objects. It appears he doesn't want John posting ANY articles as that
is `his` job. Everyone else who commented on the subject seemed in favour
which is understandable as it makes it easier for all.

I'm sorry for raising this again but can I ask you John to go with the
majority's wishes and request that Joe CHANGE his guidelines to suit the
majority of subscribers to the two groups wishes?

Jim

(Apologies for NOT x-posting this article after shouting about it!)

The majority of course is split between east and west? Do you want Joe Curry
in the GLA group.? Does the EDI group want Blimpie?

The choice lies with this newsgroup...not some mind-bending nutters...

Well it seems that one man has objected very strongly to it so far on the
EDI newsgroup. He has stated his reasons.

I don't read what he has to say as it is increasingly obvious the man can't
control his sectarianism.

Its very apparent from his posting ref US Airways. His attack on Glasgow and
the people of Glasgow is totally out of order.

Don't worry Clive, hes throwing the insults in the EDI newsgroup as well.

It is important that threads applicable to one newsgroup do not get
crossposted to the other. Will people remove cross-posting where
applicable? Can people be bothered? Do they want to deliberately cause
trouble? We shall see.
