There is an absolutely amazing video at this site:
http://www.chilloutzone.de/files/08102703.html

Some people around here believe it's a hoax. Does anyone know if this
for real.
(If it is, it has to qualify as the save of the decade, if not
century.)

It's a hoax, according to [1] and the german aviation newsgroup where
someone identified the airfield and reported having been there when
scenes for the video were recorded.

I have collected assorted comments & videos about this clip including a
subsequent interview with the pilot!.
If you are interested go to www.cheshirefalcons.co.uk

Whilst you are there I suspect you would be fascinated by a report by the
late Neil Williams ( then captain of the British aerobatics team) of how he
crash landed his Zlin in 1970 after the catastrophic failure of a lower
wing bolt and lived to tell the tale..
